Tyler Jones
Project Controls Manager
Tyler came to work at United in 2009 as a Planning Intern. Early in his career, he worked in various roles ranging from On-Site Maintenance and Drafting before traveling to job sites to work as a Field Engineer. After years of working on jobsites, Tyler came back to the office and began working as a Project Manager, managing capital work in a wide range of industries and sizes. In more recent years, Tyler has begun leading the Project Controls Department at United. Tyler’s currently working with the Controls Team to further, and enhance the impact of data driven decision making with a construction-minded approach here at United.

Tyler’s spare time is spent traveling, fishing, cooking, and rooting for the Kansas City Chiefs, who he’s been an avid fan of his entire life. He would rather go on a long road trip venturing throughout the country with his wife than sit on a beach. His family considers him an expert pizza and pasta maker, though he claims he has plenty of room to improve. Tyler is at his happiest when surrounded by his wife, son, family, and friends, listening to classic rock and simply enjoying each and every moment.
