United performed the
detailed layout and installation for a utility capacity upgrade project,
the scope of which included:

Installed new
chilled water headers throughout the facility to add expanded
production capacity

Modified cooling
tower water systems throughout the plant

Installed new
air compressor and header system to service new plant users
Detailed, fabricated
and installed approximately 3500 linear feet of utility headers varying
in bore size from 4” up to 8” diameter, including insulation and steam
tracing. Smaller bore sizes were used to connect to various pieces of
production equipment.
The project was
completed safely, over a four month period without any unplanned
production interruptions.
